Just to make my last post a little more interesting, here is a photo of us at the Freo markets!

Freo Markets

Last weekend we went over to Freemantle to go to the markets - they were pretty good, but a bit smaller than I was expecting, and crammed full of people! Mum is over here for the week, although her week is nearly over so she will be flying home on Sunday. Col is also flying away soon - he leaves on Tuesday for Cairns. Will be strange to be here without him but we decided that I would stay here where I have a job until after our holiday in July. It sounds like Cairns is a nice place so I'm looking forward to checking it out!

We've been busy making plans for our big trip - at this stage we have settled on hiring a campervan instead of buying, we're alot more comfortable with that choice as it means having a nicer campervan and one that shouldn't break down!!

Anyway, thats about it from me now so I will update next time we do somthing interesting... might not be for awhile!!!!

Our Day in Donnybrook

It was a nice sunny day over here today, so we decided to make the most of it and take a drive to a little place called Donnybrook that has like the biggest playground in the world! Haha, ok so not the world, but when I googled it it said it was the "biggest free fun park in Australia" so there ya go it's pretty big!! An anonymous local donated over a million dollars to build it if the Council donated some land. (Hmmm, I wonder how anonymous someone in a small town with a spare million lying around is!!)

We had heaps of fun - especially Campbell obviously! And the playground really was impressive. I'm going to try my hand at adding photos to this now - pictures speak a thousand words after all!

Big Ups

Nearly every town around here is something up - Yallingup, Manjimup, Kojonup, Balingup, Boyup... LOL the list goes on! I wonder what's up with that?! (haha up being the operative word!)

Trying out this blogging thing....

OK, well I thought I'd try my hand at this blogging thing, if for nothing else then to give us somthing to print out at the end of our little adventure (well of this little adventure anyway, hopefully life will be full of other adventures and challenges!).

At the moment we're in a little place called Collie in WA. Honestly, it's a bit of a crap hole but it's serving it's puropse! Cams settled into kindy and daycare and Col and I are both working hard (well, some of us harder than others it could be argued!)

Today it's mothers day... had a fairly quiet day it's safe to say. Cam had made me a cute card, magnet and bunch of flowers at kindy which was sweet, and a cupcake at daycare (Which I told him I'd share with him, and he managed to turn this into me giving it to him! Luckily I'm on a diet I guess hehe!) We went for a walk to the playground, then to subway for Lunch then Col and I went and saw "The Iron Man" at the movies. I was fairly discusted to be going to such a boys movie on mothers day of all days, but it was pretty good and Col has given me the power to choose the next 2 movies we go to so I'm pretty happy about that....just have to find some suitably 'girly' movies!
